What you need to know
Simple, self-catering accommodation available in four restored cottages on Great Blasket Island. Enjoy unique lodgings surrounded by spectacular scenery in one of Ireland’s most beautiful, untouched locations.
Currently, three cottages are available for rent. Each cottage includes 2 bedrooms, a living area, a dining/kitchenette with 4 gas hobs, a sink, kitchen utensils, 2 bathrooms, and 2 fuel-burning stoves (with one complimentary fire bucket).
– Check-in time: 2 PM.
– Checkout time: 10 AM.
This stay is not suited for everyone; guests should have a level of mobility and fitness for boarding boats and Island landing. Boarding the boat in Dunquin can be tricky in swell conditions, so ensure you feel comfortable hopping on and off the vessel.
WEATHER:
Billy will determine a cancellation due to rough seas ONLY. Please be aware we do not accept cancellations in the event of rain or cloudy weather if we are able to cross from either Dingle OR Dunquin.
Weather and sea conditions are VERY changeable. Please be flexible when making your booking.
Sailings times/ accessibility WILL VARY in the event of bad weather. Tide and sea conditions dictate our business and sailing times, so please be flexible. Cancellations will not be approved or refunded in the event a sailing time does not suit.
We try our best to read the forecast as accurately as possible and update guests as often as we can, however if weather and sea conditions come in worse than predicted and it is unsuitable to run, trips may be cancelled up until last minute.
Please be aware we CANNOT guarantee a sailing in unsettled weather conditions.

If you have entered a cottage preference we will try our best to allocate, but this cannot be guaranteed.
ACCOMMODATION CANCELLATION POLICY:
Any booking cancelled within 14 days to 7days before arrival half booking fee will be taken.
Any booking cancelled less than 7 days before arrival will be fully charged.
Please cancel your booking in writing or over phone for acknowledgment/receipt of cancellation.
No shows will be fully charged.
